Iris “Ike” Karuna (they/them)
Iris “Ike” Karuna (they/them) is a community-engaged interdisciplinary artist and arts educator, and a life-long environmental activist. They are a values-driven, big-picture thinker with a focus on experiential learning and community-led environmental stewardship.
Ike is a co-founder of Pineappleist Co. (est. 2021). They understand the philosophy of Pineappleism as a multi-purpose tool: it can be used to increase one’s personal comprehension of complex systems, as well as in teaching others to perceive and untangle elaborate systems and processes.
